My family and I were on one of our many sojourns to Sedona, AZ. We were
standing outside one of the many metaphysical bookstores enjoying that classic Arizona
ozone when our peace was abruptly interrupted by the exasperated screams of a woman.
It turns out our son who was three at that time had stepped into the small reflecting fountain nearby and had
decided to play with one of the many ornamental angels adorning the fountain and proceeded to dismember its'
wings. All of this happened quite quickly as things do with a babe in arms and a three year old on the loose. Observing the scene were two other women.
One of the women walked over to me and said with great delight; "You
have an Indigo Child!" And I said, "A what?" She replied, "Yes, you have an Indigo Child.
Have you read the book The Indigo Children? You must read the book The
Indigo Children." OK. We thanked
her and took the now wingless angel into the book store. We explained what happened much to the chagrin of the
owner and purchased the book as well as the angel which we still have to this day.
I read the book with much interest and in the appendix found a reference to something called the EMF
Balancing TechniqueÒ. I had no idea what
the EMF Balancing TechniqueÒ was but upon further reading and a little research I knew
I had to check it out. It turns out the Peggy the originator of EMF Balancing
TechniqueÒ lived in CT as well. Talk
about synchronicities. So I contacted them and about one year later I was taking
my first course and on my way to becoming a practitioner, teacher and a new way of life.
One evening after an intense day of training in the EMF Balancing Technique,Ò I
placed my Intent into the Universe to play music and simply let go. Just let
go. The creative floodgates had opened and during this time and subsequent month
I was writing about a song a day, all based around the EMF teachings and deep emotions.
Another month passed and I had to travel for business. I kept trying to make my on line flight arrangements and for
some reason they kept getting kicked back with the exception of a flight through St. Louis
and I did not want to layover in St. Louis. Finally I
acquiesced and made the reservation. I remember sitting in the hangar quietly meditating and in a very peaceful
state of being. After boarding the plane and finding my seat, I overheard
the person behind me talking on his cell phone about last night's gig and how great it was, let’s
do it again… and it sounded like what would be a dream come true for me. When he finished his conversation I politely
turned around and asked if he played music. He said he did. A great conversation
ensued and it turned out this wonderful person in the seat behind me out to be none other than Jeff Pevar. Jeff is not only one of the most wonderful and generous people you’ll ever meet
but I have to say he is one of the greatest guitar players I have ever heard. He
has played with almost every notable rock musician and group under the sun. I was deeply
humbled. A couple months went by and we kept in touch via email and in time came
to collaborate on InfinityExpress.
The songs for this CD were written in three months and originally there were 30 songs in total. The
rhythm tracks were recorded in five days - which is simply amazing in and of it self because the players had never heard the
material before the first day in the studio. The entire process was pure magic. The CD took
about three additional months to complete, including the artwork and pressing. Now Infinity Express is being
sold Worldwide in over 70 countries!
